While growing up in the California Sierra Mountains I was enveloped by the natural world. Every day was an exploratory adventure, discovering new insects and tiny magical water creatures. So as an adult, I try to hang on to my childlike adventurous side by doing things that remind me of those lost magical realms. Macro photography is one of those things. I’m amazed and in awe by these microscopic worlds.
The world is full of chaos and distractions, so from time to time, I retreat into these hidden realms as a way to recharge and bring me back to the present moment.
We are surrounded by these tiny enchanted realms, calling each of us to slow down, focus and remember.
Eternal Bloom Collection
Finally, inspired by these magical hidden worlds, is my soon to be released Eternal Bloom Collection. Here is a sneak peek of a few pieces!
I’m so glad you happened upon my post today!
In conclusion, I would love to hear from you, and what helps you stay in the present moment!
With love,
Carol

All the flowers are beautiful, but I’m most awed by that Miner’s Lettuce. Never seen anything like it!
You make gorgeous jewellery! 🙂

Thank you so much Susmitha! I love the Miner’s Lettuce too. It thrives in water so it grows mostly near creeks and streams:)
